Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 October 2026 (version 2026-10-15)

These terms are an agreement between you and Start.it Digital Agency, a French company registered under SIREN 881 474 746, at 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France ("Start.it", "we"), for the use of the HOP app. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Who can use HOP

You must be 15 or older. You are responsible for what happens on your account: keep your password secret and tell us at hello@startit.agency if you think someone else is using it.

2. Beta version

HOP is currently in beta. Features can change or stop, there may be bugs, and some data could be lost. Please don't rely on the beta for anything important, and send us your feedback.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the plays, highlights, comments and events you post. To run the service, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display and share your content with other HOP members, for as long as it is on HOP. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account (apart from copies other members already received through notifications).

Only post content you have the right to share, and get the agreement of the people who appear in your photos and videos.

4. Rules

Don't use HOP to:

Events you organise must be safe and lawful. You are responsible for your event and for your own participation in other members' events; sport carries a risk of injury, so take part within your abilities.

5. Reports and moderation

You can report content or accounts and block people. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or the law. We'll tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it, and you can contest the decision by writing to hello@startit.agency.

6. Places and other members' content

Information about places and events is provided as is. Check it before you go: we are not responsible for third-party venues or for events organised by members.

7. Liability

We do our best to keep HOP available and secure but can't guarantee it will always work without interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under French law, in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

9. Personal data

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and law

We'll tell you in the app before important changes to these terms apply. These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, contact us first; you can also use a consumer mediator or go to the competent French courts.
